Data Mate 1000 | DM1000 with optional GPS for 2-way conventional and trunked radio systems 

General Description: 

A 44 button status reporting Mobile Data Terminal with  240 character eligible LCD screen either 2 line display or 4 line display. The DM1000 is a full two-way MDT.  As part of the status and GPS reporting system, the DM1000 interfaces to an existing two-way radio in each vehicle in the fleet and passes data including GPS location through the existing two-way radio system to a Central Controller interfaced to the Base Station radio.  The information is then fed to a PC workstation for real time observation of the actual vehicle location and status as it moves its delivery cycle.
